In brief
- A booking is confirmed once you accept a written quote and pay the 40% deposit.

- Dutch law applies; consumers may use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
1. Parties and scope
These terms apply to all services provided by Molgulaxeno B.V. (trading as Molgulaxeno), Haarlemmerweg 239, 1051 CG Amsterdam, KvK 90831275, VAT NL803702589B01, phone 020 261 3844, email [email protected].
They cover studio recording, mixing, mastering, podcast sessions and ensemble tracking as described on services and in your quote. Specific terms in the quote prevail. By accepting a quote, you agree to these conditions. Your purchasing terms are explicitly rejected.
2. Definitions

3. Pre-contract information
Before you accept a quote, we inform you via the site and the quote about the main features of the service, total price including 21% VAT, schedule, our identity and contact details, and — for consumers — withdrawal rights where applicable. Indicative rates on pages such as vocals recording, mixing and mastering are guides; the quote is binding.

4. Quote, booking and confirmation
Send requests via contact, 020 261 3844 or [email protected]. We aim to send a quote within 2 business days when your brief is complete enough. Quotes are valid for 2 business days unless stated otherwise.
A session is firmly booked after written acceptance of the quote and receipt of the deposit (see article 6). Until then, the slot may be offered to another client.
5. Prices and VAT
Prices are in euros. Consumer prices include 21% VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. For business clients we show both ex-VAT (e.g. €80.99 per hour vocals) and inc-VAT (€98) amounts.
Indicative service rates:
- Vocals and speech recording: from €98 per hour, €355 half day, €640 full day
- Mixing: €195 per track, €720 EP, €1,220 album
- Mastering: €82 per track, €280 EP, €155 attended session
- Podcast recording: €92 per hour, €245 per episode
- Ensemble live room: €118 per hour, €465 half day
Extra options or overrun beyond the booked block are charged only with your consent.
6. Deposit, invoicing and payment
When booking, you pay a deposit of 40% of the quoted amount including VAT. The deposit is offset against the final invoice. Payment is by bank transfer; cash above statutory limits is not accepted in the studio.
Consumers pay the balance on the session day or upon delivery of mix/master files, as stated in the quote. Business clients pay within 14 days of invoice date unless the quote says otherwise.
Late payment may incur statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs. Until full payment we may withhold final files; working files are kept as described in article 12.
7. Reschedule, cancellation and no-show

Send requests in writing to [email protected]. Force majeure may justify different arrangements (see article 15). These rules do not limit statutory withdrawal rights where they apply.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
When you as a consumer conclude a distance contract (email, phone or form), you generally have 14 days to withdraw without giving reasons, unless a legal exception applies.
If you explicitly ask us to start before the end of that period, you pay a proportionate amount for work already performed if you withdraw. For services fully performed after your explicit request and confirmation that you waive withdrawal, the right ends once the service is complete.
Notify withdrawal clearly to [email protected] or by post to Molgulaxeno B.V., Haarlemmerweg 239, 1051 CG Amsterdam. We refund within 14 days using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise.
9. Cancellation by Molgulaxeno
If we must cancel due to illness, equipment failure or force majeure, we inform you promptly and offer another date. If scheduling fails, we refund amounts paid for undelivered work within 14 days.
10. Running sessions
Hours: Tuesday–Friday 09:30–21:00, Saturday 10:00–17:00, closed Sunday and Monday.. The live room accommodates up to 5 musicians at once; larger setups require prior agreement. Minimum age for independent booking is 16; younger artists are welcome with written consent and a parent or guardian present.
Treat gear and rooms carefully and follow engineer instructions. No smoking or vaping indoors. We may stop a session for unsafe behaviour; the booked time remains due. Damage caused wilfully or by gross negligence to studio equipment is charged to the client.
Extra time beyond the booked block is billed per started 15 minutes at the hourly rate in the quote, subject to capacity and your approval.
11. Mix and mastering revisions
For mixing and mastering, 2 revision rounds are included as stated on the service pages and quote. One round means a single bundled list of notes processed together. Further rounds or a new artistic direction after approval are quoted separately.

12. Files, delivery and archive
Unless the quote says otherwise, we deliver files digitally via secure download or on media you provide. Standard formats are confirmed in the quote (usually high-resolution WAV).
We keep session and project files for 24 months after the last relevant session or delivery, then delete them unless longer storage is agreed in writing. You are responsible for backups once files are received.
13. Intellectual property
Your works. Music, lyrics and materials you supply remain yours. You warrant that you hold necessary rights for samples, covers and likeness. Molgulaxeno B.V. claims no copyright in your compositions.
Recordings. The producer of a phonogram is whoever initiates and is responsible for the first fixation. When you commission and pay for recording, that role is yours in practice; to the extent we could claim neighbouring rights, we transfer them upon full payment.
Performers. Commercial exploitation requires performer consent. We provide technical production and acquire no rights in your repertoire.
References and AI. We do not use your recordings to train AI models and create no voice clones without written consent. We mention your name as a reference only with written approval.
14. Liability
We perform services with the care expected of a professional recording studio. Artistic outcome also depends on your preparation; we do not guarantee chart or streaming performance.
Liability is limited to direct damage from attributable breach, up to the invoice amount for the relevant service, except in cases of intent, deliberate recklessness or personal injury. Mandatory law may provide otherwise.

15. Force majeure
In force majeure — power failure, network outage, epidemic, government measure or failure of essential suppliers — obligations are suspended for the duration. Parties seek a reasonable new date. If hindrance lasts more than 28 days, either party may terminate undelivered work with refund of prepaid amounts.
16. Personal data
We process personal data under our privacy policy. If you supply guest or performer data as a business client, our data processing agreement applies where needed.
17. Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to [email protected] with a short description and quote reference. We respond within 2 business days with a proposal.
Consumers may bring a dispute before a competent court in the Netherlands or use the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to join voluntary dispute boards outside court.
Disputes between businesses are submitted to the Amsterdam District Court unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
18. Final provisions
Dutch law governs these terms. If a clause is void, the remainder stays in force and we replace the void clause with a valid one closest to its purpose.
We may amend these terms; the version dated 14 October 2026 applies to quotes accepted afterwards. Earlier jobs remain under the version effective on acceptance. See also legal notice.
